Miranda Victoria
Miranda Victoria is an art teacher and illustrator. She grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and went to get her BFA at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated with a major in Illustration and a minor in Communication Design. Later, became an art teacher in the state of WI through the RITE program through CESA 6.
She emphasizes a feel-good, playful illustration style that covers important topics including mental health and self-care. When it comes to teaching art, she focuses on letting the students have a choice in their work & experimenting with different mediums. She wants all her students to feel comfortable to express themselves in a healthy way.
You can find her work being in digital or traditional mediums, including gouache, watercolor, and alcohol markers. She has recently been working with felt to create magnets and pins.
Inspired by media she consumes (anime, books, and social media) as well as life around her.
Miranda has created emotes, logos, and merch designs for DumpTruckDylan on Twitch.tv as well as businesses in her hometown.
